On the research station

The early season rains were erratic,and the corn is ragged ages.

 

 

In some districts they plant climbing beans and corn together, and the beans climb the cornstalks and mature later.

Here are beans (probably a variety trial) climbing strings.

Here is a bird that visited my house.  I'm fairly sure it is a baby, but not sure what species.
