Wire-tailed swallows on a fence in a 

downpour. They were not happy birds.

When the rain slowed they gathered on the power-line.

This is a variable sun-bird.  You can see the yellow 

breast, and the green and purple head.

A New District

We have started research in Ntchisi district.

It is high and mountainous, and is called the Scotland of Malawi.

The alternation of corn and soybeans reminds me of the Midwest.
